1. Our Commitment

At Share Site, we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment for all individuals, especially children and vulnerable adults, who interact with our services, programs, and activities. We believe that everyone has the right to be safe, respected, and protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

This Safeguarding Commitments document outlines our dedication to ensuring the well-being of all participants and stakeholders involved with Share Site.

  • Program Participants and Beneficiaries

We are committed to addressing all forms of harm, including physical, emotional, sexual, and financial abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

4. Reporting Concerns

We encourage anyone who has a safeguarding concern to report it immediately. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled with sensitivity and confidentiality.

We will ensure that all reports are investigated promptly and thoroughly, and appropriate action is taken in accordance with our internal procedures and relevant laws and regulations.

5. Training and Awareness

We provide regular safeguarding training and awareness programs for all our staff and volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting individuals from harm. This includes training on:

  • Safe practices and professional boundaries
  • Online safety

These Safeguarding Commitments and our associated policies and procedures will be reviewed regularly, at least annually, to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with best practices and legal requirements. We are committed to continuous improvement in our safeguarding practices.
